Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Bishop Carroll nudges North Star
October 2, 2024: Boswell, PA 15531 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) and the host North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA), saw Bishop Carroll's soccer squad hold off North Star by a count of 4-3.
The Huskies (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils enter the Laurel Highlands battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Central Cambria was edged by Bedford (Bedford, PA), 4-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 7. North Star will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 0-7 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA).
