Georgia High School Softball - Commerce bounces Mountain View
October 2, 2024: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 The Commerce Tigers softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Mountain View Bears to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Tigers now possess a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee Bluff for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. Commerce will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, GA). The Bears record now stands at 19-6.
With the loss, Mountain View moves to 6-15 on the season. The Bears host Dacula (Dacula, GA) to confront the Falcons in a 6A Region 8 battle on Thursday, October 3. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 15-10. Dacula lost 9-8 in their recent non-league battle against Seckinger (Buford, GA)
