In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Annawan Braves/Bravettes volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars.

The Braves/Bravettes (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Rebels enter the Lincoln Trail challenge with a 3-22 record. In their last challenge, Stark County was tipped by ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Monday, October 7. ROWVA/Williamsfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over LaMoille (LaMoille, IL).
