South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, South Stokes improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Sauras travel to Starmount (Boonville, NC) to encounter the Rams in a Northwest 1A test on Thursday, October 3. The Rams go into the test with a record of 2-13. Starmount lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
