The Lynden Lions got by the host Sehome Mariners football team by a score of 38-33 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a 2A Northwest test, on Friday, October 10. Lynden will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Storm come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 24-21 league win over Anacortes (Anacortes, WA).

With the defeat, Sehome drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to meet the Lyncs in a non-league test on Friday, October 10. The Lyncs come into the test with a record of 5-0. Lynden Christian won 41-0 in their recent league challenge against Blaine (Blaine, WA)
