In Thursday's league challenge, the host Vanguard College Prep Vikings football team scored a big 68-0 win over the Temple Christian Eagles.

Next, the Vikings meet the Valor North Austin Lions (Austin, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Vanguard College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 66-30 non-league win over Austin Classical (Austin, TX).

The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX). The Eagles go into the TAPPS Six-Man Division I District 1 (6 Man) challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Prince of Peace was trounced by Prestonwood Christian North (Prosper, TX), 50-0, in a non-league contest.
