October 2, 2025: Portland, OR 97201 St. Mary's Academy Blues (Portland, OR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting David Douglas Scots (Portland, OR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Blues (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Lions enter the 6A Three Rivers outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, West Linn Central Catholic (Portland, OR), 1-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Scots confront the Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood outing, on Monday, October 6. David Douglas will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Gophers enter the outing with a 2-4 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR).
