West Virginia High School Soccer - Braxton County knocks off Philip Barbour
October 2, 2025: Sutton, WV 26601 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Braxton County Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Philip Barbour Colts.
The Eagles (16-0) will now prepare for their test against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Beavers come into the Coalfield AA test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Bluefield edged Midland Trail (Hico, WV), 4-0, in a league test.
The Colts now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they host Preston for a Big Ten test on Tuesday, October 7. Philip Barbour will clash with a Knights team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Knights record now stands at 2-13.
