In Thursday's non-league match, the Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Auburndale Eagles (Auburndale, WI) in a Marawood - South bout, on Tuesday, October 7. Marathon will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 19-12 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Osceola (Osceola, WI).
