With the triumph, Cesar Chavez upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Champions host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Central lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
Next, the Bruins meet the South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A - Metro test, on Tuesday, October 14. Browne will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ).
