October 2, 2025: Wolverine, MI 49799 Ellsworth Lancers (Ellsworth, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Wolverine Wildcats (Wolverine, MI), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Ellsworth improves its record to 1-11 on the season. The Lancers host Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI) to face the Comets in a Freelance test on Tuesday, October 7. The Comets go into the test with a record of 7-9.
Next, the Wildcats play the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Wolverine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI).
