October 2, 2025: Westland, MI 48185 Glenn Rockets (Westland, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Ypsilanti Grizzlies (Ypsilanti, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Glenn upgrades its record to 2-12 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI) to play the Zebras in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Zebras come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Wayne Memorial won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)
Next, the Grizzlies play the Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Ypsilanti will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Maples come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Dundee (Dundee, MI).
