Louisiana High School Volleyball - Northeast over Tara

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Northeast Vikings volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Tara Trojans.

With the win, Northeast improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Vikings host Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to face the Hornets in a Division V District 4 test on Monday, October 6. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 8-9. Catholic of Pointe Coupee lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Trojans now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Livonia for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Tara will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-10.
