The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack come into the 1A/2A East Conference 5 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Whiteville trounced East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 52-0, in a league challenge.
The Stallions now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Columbus for a 1A/2A East Conference 5 challenge on Friday, October 7. South Columbus will meet a Vikings team coming off a 28-7 league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
