Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Conklin, NY) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Johnson City Wildcats (Johnson City, NY), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Vestal for a Southern Tier Athletic Conference (STAC) challenge on Wednesday, October 5. Johnson City will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-0 league win over Elmira (Elmira, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 8-1.
