October 3, 2022: Lowell, MA 01851 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) and the host Lowell Catholic Crusaders (Lowell, MA), saw Georgetown's volleyball squad beat Lowell Catholic by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Georgetown upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Royals travel to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA) to play the Vikings in a Cape Ann bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Triton Regional lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Newburyport (Newburyport, MA)
The Crusaders now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Greater Lawrence Tech for a Commonwealth Upper bout on Wednesday, October 5. Lowell Catholic will play a Reggies squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA). The Reggies record now stands at 4-5.
