The Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD) varsity volleyball team lost Monday's home conference match against Oxon Hill (MD) by a score of 3-0.
The Oxon Hill Clippers topped the host Largo Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.
The Clippers now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Friday, October 7. Oxon Hill will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 0-1.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD). The Lions enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North gained a win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
