October 3, 2023: Milton, FL 32570 The Santa Rosa Christian volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix to 0 in the non-league victory on Tuesday.
The now have a 1-5 record.
The Phoenix (4-15) will now prepare for their game against L.E.A.D. Academy (Pace, FL). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 0-6 record.
Match Summary
The Phoenix JV squad began their match without their two setters, which was less than ideal. Aside from that, their overall performance was a bit below their capabilities, playing a team that was fairly close to their competition level. They missed a significant number of serves, struggled with communication and made a number of just plain poor hits. It was a fun match, though, with some bright spots in serving (including Miley making 5 aces on 9 serves!) and hustling to the ball.
