Missouri High School Softball - Parkway West tipped by Webster Groves
October 3, 2023: Webster Groves, MO 63119 The Webster Groves Statesmen softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Parkway West Longhorns to 3 in the Statesmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Webster Groves moves its record to 12-13 on the year. The Statesmen host Capital City (Jefferson City, MO) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, October 6. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 10-11. Capital City won 12-9 in their recent non-league game against Father Tolton (Columbia, MO)
In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) in a Class 4 District 3 game, on Wednesday, October 4. Parkway West will attempt to move on its 16-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 2-14 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO).
