October 3, 2023: Rayne, LA 70578 The Rayne Wolves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints to 0 in the Wolves non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wolves now have a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crowley for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 4. Rayne will meet a Gent team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Gent record now stands at 6-11.
The Saints (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Beau Chene gained a win over North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
