Virginia High School Football - Fleming tops Halifax County
October 3, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24017 The Fleming Colonels football squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Halifax County Comets to 8 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Colonels now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host William Byrd for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Fleming will meet a Terriers squad coming off a 40-14 non-league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Halifax County drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-2.
