North Carolina High School Football - R.J. Reynolds thwarted by Parkland
October 3, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), 14-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Parkland improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-3. East Forsyth lost 33-2 in their recent non-league battle against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
The Demons now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Tabor for a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. R.J. Reynolds will play a Spartans team coming off a 33-2 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
