Virginia High School Soccer - Eastern Mennonite knocks off Blue Ridge
October 3, 2024: St. George, VA 22935 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) and the host Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), saw Eastern Mennonite's soccer squad knock off Blue Ridge by a count of 3-0.
The Flames (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against JV Opponent (, ). The enter the non-league battle with a 17-36 record. In their last battle, JV Opponent by Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Barons battle the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) in a battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bishops enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 12-0 league win over Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA).
