October 3, 2024: Springfield, PA 19064 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Cardinal O'Hara Lions soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Springfield Cougars.
The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA). The Hawks enter the Philadelphia Catholic outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph's Prep tipped Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA), 7-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA) in a Central outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
