Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Mountain Island Charter improves its record to 6-13 on the season. The Raptors travel to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to face the Pride in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Monday, October 7. The Pride go into the test with a record of 13-3.

The Cardinals now own a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Lake Prep for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Tuesday, October 8.
