October 3, 2024: Wilson, NC 27893 The Fike Demons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting East Wake Warriors to 0 in the Demons league triumph on Thursday.
The Demons now have a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Wayne for a Quad County 3A outing on Tuesday, October 8. Fike will play a Saints team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Saints record now stands at 3-16.
With the loss, East Wake drops to 4-13 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to play the Trojans in a Quad County 3A outing on Tuesday, October 8. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 15-5. South Johnston won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Hunt (Wilson, NC)
