Tri-County Cavaliers (Wolcott, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Tri-County improves its record to 26-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN) to face the Knights in a Midwest Athletic test on Tuesday, October 8. The Knights go into the test with a record of 7-16. DeMotte Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Northfield (Wabash, IN)

The Spartans now own a 1-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lowell for a non-league test on Monday, October 7. North Newton will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-18.
