South Carolina High School Volleyball - Sumter overwhelmed by West Florence
October 3, 2024: Sumter, SC 29154 The West Florence Knights topped the host Sumter Gamecocks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Knights face the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 game, on Monday, October 7. West Florence will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Demons go into the game with a 14-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Blythewood (Blythewood, SC).
The Gamecocks (5-9) will now prepare for their game against East Clarendon (Turbeville, SC). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, East Clarendon gained a win over Manning (Manning, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
