Louisiana High School Football - Assumption wallops Morgan City
October 3, 2025: Napoleonville, LA 70390 The Assumption Mustangs football team scored 58 points and held the visiting Morgan City Tigers to 20 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) in a 4A District 8 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 10-9 league win over South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA).
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Cardinals enter the 4A District 8 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, E.D. White bounced South Lafourche (Galliano, LA), 49-27, in a league challenge.
