Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions (St. Louis, MO), 28-14 in a non-league match.

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Cornerstone Christian defeated Stanton (Stanton, TX), 58-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Roosevelt Roughriders (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 10. Cardinal Ritter College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Roughriders come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Crystal City (Crystal City, MO).
