October 3, 2025: Floyd, NM 88118 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) and the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), witnessed Floyd's football squad wallop Carrizozo by a tally of 59-6.
The Broncos (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Blue/Lady Blue enter the 6-Man District 1 (6 Man) contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Roy/Mosquero was trounced by Elida (Elida, NM), 66-60, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Grizzlies battle the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Carrizozo will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 58-19 non-league loss to Animas (Animas, NM).
