The Cedar Springs Red Hawks (Cedar Springs, MI) football trounced the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 63-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Red Hawks now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sparta for a River Cities Alliance outing on Friday, October 10. Cedar Springs will face a Spartans team coming off a 24-13 league win over Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.

The Blue Devils (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Alpena (Alpena, MI). The Wildcats come into the Big North outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Alpena was overwhelmed by Gaylord (Gaylord, MI), 41-0, in a league outing.
