Pennsylvania High School Football - Monessen beaten by Chartiers-Houston
October 3, 2025: Monessen, PA 15062 The Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers football squad scored 31 points and limited the host Monessen Greyhounds to 18 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.
The Buccaneers now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Serra Catholic for a WPIAL A Black Hills test on Friday, October 10. Chartiers-Houston will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 54-14 league loss to Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, Monessen drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA) to meet the Blue Devils in a WPIAL A Black Hills challenge on Friday, October 10. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Burgettstown lost 34-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshannock (New Castle, PA)
