October 3, 2025: Cheney, KS 67025 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hoisington Cardinals football squad scored a good 20-6 victory over the Cheney Cardinals.
The Cardinals (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Lakin (Lakin, KS). The Broncs enter the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Lakin thwarted Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS), 37-16, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Cardinals play the Chaparral Roadrunners (Anthony, KS) in a Central Plains battle, on Friday, October 10. Cheney will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Roadrunners go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Clearwater (Clearwater, KS).
