Maine High School Football - Deering loses to Cheverus
October 3, 2025: Portland, ME 04103 Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Deering Rams (Portland, ME), 21-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cheverus upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Stags host Biddeford (Biddeford, ME) to confront the Tigers in a B South match on Saturday, October 11. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-4. Biddeford lost 38-0 in their recent league match against Falmouth (Falmouth, ME)
Coming up next, the Rams confront the South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. Deering will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Red Riots go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 33-18 non-league win over Windham (Windham, ME).
