October 3, 2025: Dover, DE 19901 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) and the host Early College Hornets (Dover, DE), witnessed Delmar's football squad wallop Early College by a tally of 45-6.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Spartans go into the 2A District 3 bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Lake Forest smashed Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE), 26-21, in a league bout.
The Hornets now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Andrew's for a 1A District 3 contest on Friday, October 10. Early College will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 21-7 non-league loss to McKean (Wilmington, DE). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
