Missouri High School Football - Raytown South can't hold off Excelsior Springs
October 3, 2025: Raytown, MO 64138 Excelsior Springs Tigers (Excelsior Springs, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO), 9-6 in a league test.
The Tigers now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Grandview for a Suburban - Blue test on Friday, October 10. Excelsior Springs will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-7 non-league loss to North Kansas City (North Kansas City, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Raytown South drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Kearney (Kearney, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, October 10. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Kearney won 28-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO)
