Trinity Leadership Tigers (Cedar Hill, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Gateway Charter Academy Gators (Dallas, TX), 44-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Trinity Leadership advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers host Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A-2 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 17. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Blooming Grove won 55-0 in their recent league battle against Inspired Vision (Dallas, TX)

The Gators now own a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Scurry-Rosser for a 3A-2 Region II District 8 match on Friday, October 17. Gateway Charter Academy will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-7 league win over Rice (Rice, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
