The Herbert Hoover Huskies walloped the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles football team by a score of 48-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Friday, October 17. Herbert Hoover will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.

The Black Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons enter the Mountain State challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Albans was ripped by Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 44-22, in a league challenge.
