In Friday's league game, the Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) football team triumphed over the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), by a score of 49-7.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 game, on Friday, October 10. Westside will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Razorbacks enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 41-0 league loss to Aquinas (Augusta, GA).
