In Friday's league game, the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) football squad trounced the visiting Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), by a margin of 61-13.

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Nimitz for a 6A Region I District 7 outing on Thursday, October 9. Richardson will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 58-0 league loss to Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Irving drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pearce (Richardson, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 6A Region I District 7 outing on Thursday, October 9. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Pearce lost 17-14 in their recent league outing against Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX)
