The South Adams Starfires football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Jay County Patriots to 16 in the Starfires league triumph on Friday.

The Starfires now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodlan for a Allen County challenge on Friday, October 10. South Adams will face a Warriors team coming off a 30-6 non-league win over Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-5.

The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Lapel ran past Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.
