California High School Football - Northgate can't hold off Las Lomas

Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), 42-35 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Las Lomas advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA) to play the Ugly Eagles in a Diablo - Foothill match on Friday, October 10. The Ugly Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-3. Clayton Valley Charter lost 31-13 in their recent non-league match against Liberty (Brentwood, CA)

Coming up next, the Broncos confront the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) in a Diablo - Valley match, on Friday, October 17. Northgate will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 51-25 non-league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA).
