South Dakota High School Football - New Underwood crushed by Lyman
October 3, 2025: New Underwood, SD 57761 Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD), 64-20 in a league battle.
The Raiders now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Philip for a Western Great Plains (9 Man) test on Friday, October 10. Lyman will meet a Scotties squad coming off a 44-43 non-league win over Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Scotties record now stands at 4-1.
The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes go into the Western Great Plains (9 Man) challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Jones County was ripped by Wall (Wall, SD), 50-0, in a league test.
