The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI) and the visiting Madison West Regents (Madison, WI), witnessed Verona's football squad wallop Madison West by a tally of 40-7.

The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Madison East (Madison, WI). The Purgolders enter the Big Eight contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Madison East was trounced by Middleton (Middleton, WI), 56-3, in a league contest.
