Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Man Hillbillies (Man, WV), 24-14 in a league match.

The Tide (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV). The Rebels come into the Coalfield A match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Tolsia went down by Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV), 41-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Hillbillies meet the Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 10. Man will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 5-0 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV).
