Illinois High School Football - Marquette loses to Seneca

The Marquette Crusaders football team (Ottawa, IL), dropped 43-26 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL)

With the win, Seneca upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Fighting Irish host St. Bede (Peru, IL) to confront the Bruins in a Chicagoland Prairie contest on Friday, October 10. The Bruins enter the contest with a record of 2-4. St. Bede lost 48-14 in their recent non-league contest against Dwight (Dwight, IL)

Next up, the Crusaders encounter the Elmwood/Brimfield Trojans (Elmwood, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 10. Marquette will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 42-34 league loss to Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL).
