The New Buffalo Bison felled the host NorthPointe Christian Mustangs football team by a margin of 48-40 in Friday's league test.

The Bison now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomingdale for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. New Buffalo will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 27-6 league loss to Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, NorthPointe Christian drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bridgman (Bridgman, MI) to meet the Bees in a Southwestern Michigan I (8 Man) test on Friday, October 10.
