With the win, New Hope betters its record to 3-2 on the year. The Trojans host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to confront the Commodores in a 5A Region 1 contest on Friday, October 10. The Commodores enter the contest with a record of 4-2. Lafayette won 30-14 in their recent non-league contest against PURE Academy (Memphis, TN)
