West Virginia High School Football - Preston loses to Woodrow Wilson

October 3, 2025: Kingwood, WV 26537

Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 45-34 in a non-league match.

The Flying Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Riverside (Belle, WV). The Warriors enter the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Riverside was beaten by Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 17-15, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a Big Ten battle, on Friday, October 17. Preston will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
